Repair or replace roof?

My roof is in need of repair due to rotten battens by the verge and a gap between ridge caps. There's also a few slipped tiles here and there. Needs scaffolding fitted, I've been quoted ~£1400 for a full repair including rebedding the ridge caps to avoid the same problem occurring on other parts of the roof. so far and I'm waiting on more quotes.
I've been told a replacement would be in the region of £5-7k for the cheapest option.
The roof is about 70 years old, concrete tiles. There's several other houses on the same street with the same original roofs, but unfortunately only mine seems to have this issue. Its ex council and all the council owned properties have new roofs.
I'm conflicted as to what to do. Do I repair and hope to get another 5 - 10 years of life, or bite the bullet?
The rest of the roof seems fairly sound, but my concern is whether more tiles will start slipping as nails rust etc.
But equally, modern roofs seem to not last as long as far as I've been told, and the quotes for replacement are for a fairly 'cheap' roof.
What would you do?

Aside from the ridge & verge, it doesn't look that bad. You should get another 20+ years out of it once the repairs are done. While you have scaffolding up, you want to get the chimney repointed. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
