DCBL- bailiffs / high court enforcement

Afternoon all,
So got a couple of private parking tickets from about 2 or 3 years ago. I knew I had parked wrong but also been told if I got done I wouldn't have to pay private parking etc.
I ignored all the letters and then not heard anything for well over a year.
Then all the letters have started again.. Price going up more and more each time I get a letter.
Each letter then saying if I don't act it will go to court etc....
Then this morning...i have a letter pushed through the door... No stamp etc. Saying high court enformant asking to give a certain agent a call to discuss the reason for there call. My bill is now near £2000 due to all the add on fees.
The odd thing I find out the letter clearly someone has been round to push it through my door but no one knocked on the door for sure to speak to me.
Just after some advice on if I should pay... Is this as serious as it looks?
Thanks
Ben

Was one of the letters you ignored a county court claim form from CCBC in Northampton? If so, it is likely that you have a judgment against against you and that is what the letter through the door (well through the letter box hopefully) is trying to obtain. Do you have membership of one of the credit reference agencies such as Experian? If so, do a run on your credit file and see if you have a CCJ. If so, call Northampton CCBC (ask Auntie Google for the phone number) and get the details of the CCJ, which PPC, which solicitor, how much for and when was the judgment lodged. Have you moved and failed to inform the DVLA about a new address for your driving licence and V5C?3

Ignoring a PCN is a bad idea and has not been advised here since the law changed in 2012.
Follow the advice given by Le-Kirk to determine if you have a default CCJ against you.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -
!!!!!
Did you ignore a CLAIM FORM from the court?
If so you have utterly screwed yourself. NEVER ignore a claim form, ever.
Be absolutely precise when you answer.
Maybe post a cop of the redacted notice, so we arent reliant on your summary.4
