Credit card debt for £1700 including fees.

Got the ccj set aside and just lodged a defence at local county court.

What happens next and what are the possible outcomes now?

Depends on your defence doesn’t it.

Set aside returns both you and the creditor to the pre-action stage, if you have a good defence to their claim, then you will most likely win.

As I said, it all hinges on what you have told them.

My defence is statute barred. Default 2010 and last token payment in 2011.

Hoist say I made a payment 5 years ago but only provided court a date and amount.

Ive asked for full account details, authorisation codes, names etc.

I guess worst case is I lose and get a fresh CCJ which I then hope I'm allowed to either pay off in installments or try and pay off within 30 days to stop the fresh CCJ appearing on my credit reports.

There will be some form of hearing - may be by phone. The court will let you know.

No, none whatsoever.

Its important that the correct Hoist company is identified.  Is it Hoist Financial Holdings UK 2 Limited or Hoist Portfolio? Because it does make a difference

These companies operate on a numbers basis, none of them put too much effort into a court claim.

Wether it be Lowell, Hoist, Cabot, PRA or whichever shell organisation that represents one of them, they are all full of hot air and little substance.
