V8's are quickly becoming a thing of the past.
(For those that don't want to click on the links; they are replacing the V8 with a V6 + Electric motor).1 -

From everything I've seen the V8 is becoming a 4 cylinder not a V60 -
I guess the next AMG performance version of humble MB saloons will be all electric.

Might be harder to justify that when the car is otherwise silent naturally.
I'm enjoying petrol cars while we still can. If i still feel i want a petrol variant when they stop making them in 2030 or so, i'll buy the newest version i can of the petrol variant i want and just drive on at it.0
