Hi,
Looking for a bit of advice on what people would do in this situation,
Im selling and moving home, 4 people in the chain. I have been informed all of the chain is now ready to exchange and complete, I was asked for potential dates and gave them, my buyer said they could do any of those and was happy with whatever, I was informed from the onward chain it had to be from mid Feb onwards which is fine, however its now been 3 weeks and my solicitor is having no response from the onward chain despite chasing. I contacted the estate agent and they said they will chase but I have heard nothing back for a week now and my emails and calls are going unanswered. I've informed them I need notice, because I work in healthcare and can't keep chopping and changing my days off all the time (I've had to book all of my leave to but I'm worried I'm going to run out of leave waiting for an answer and the dates may not suit them and then I would be stuck). I'm getting worried something is going on as 3 weeks and no response on completion dates I find is a little strange. I'm not sure how often I should contact people myself as I don't want to seem too pushy and annoying but equally I also need to know and I can't accommodate a last minute move at very short notice. Plus I really don't want to miss the stamp duty deadline.
