SIP parking state no appeals

The driver parked on the 19/12/20 and paid using pay by phone app, the app must have defaulted to their old car which the driver hadn't realised, the first they knew about the fine was when they received the NTK as although it says one was fixed to the windscreen there definitely wasn't. There are no pictures to view on their website and the letter states that as they had fixed a ticket to the car the time period to appeal as elapsed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as this is not a company I have heard of before, so I want to make sure the appeal is worded correctly

Hello and welcome.
Your thread title says:SIP parking state no appealsThe Notice to Keeper does not say that.
However, it does say that it is too late for the driver to appeal.
The keeper should appeal as described in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread.

When the driver tried to complete the appeal form online it wouldnt let them do it0

Why is the driver appealing, no-one told the DRIVER to appeal. Read the advice again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry I meant to say the registered keeper, not used this forum for a long time and have been struggling to add the pictures, and was trying to find the edit button so was a bit tired, I am just trying to help the registered Keeper. I have been looking at the newbies thread but was a bit unsure what appeal should be used as this parking firm does not seem to be a member of the BPA it says they are credited to the IPC but they don't display the logos on their paperwork. I had seen on another thread the registered keeper could appeal as under BPA rules if it's a mistake on registration the maximum charge should only be £20.00, but dont know if that will apply any advice on which appeal to use would be appreciated0

Use the 'one size fits all' blue text template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, first post. Add a final line to the effect that the driver had the incorrect VRM entered by the app - an unintended 'keying error'. Give them the VRM the app used and ask they check their pay and display records around the time the VRM was entered.Check the IPC current Code of Practice to see what it says about a major keying error.Has the landowner been contacted and ask for help in getting the ticket overturned?
If there are no photos showing on their website, then send a SAR to the PPC - see the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, for advice on doing that - and ask for all photos they hold for the vehicle VRM xx/xx/xxx (the vehicle's actual VRM).Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

SIP have a lot of car park management in and around the Greater Manchester area , been here for many years , so they didn't setup overnight , IPC AOS member , so nothing to do with the BPA
Follow the plan A plus IPC advice in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum
Do not expect to resolve this quickly , it could end up in civil court within 6 years2 -
The so called time limit to "appeal" in entirely arbitrary and something made up by the parking companies in an attempt to imitate real parking tickets issued by real authorities. Was this a stand-alone car park, or one attached to something such as a pub/shops/retail park etc?this info will help us to help you in dealing with a landowner complaintThe only place i've realy noticed Sip is in the Manchester area on tatty bits of land, and when presented with the choice ive usually gone for council run car parks - i'd much rather my standard parking fees went to the coffers of the local council than the grubby mits of PPC scum land wherever possible
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"3 -
It was a stand alone car park, the driver used that particular one as they were volunteering in a nearby food bank1

If I use the template one size fits all would it not be contradictory to then add a paragraph at the end to say the driver had paid using the pay by phone app but it had defaulted to their old VRM. Also how do you find out who the land owner is and is it worth appealing to the landowner if it is just a car park not attached to any shops or retail. Thanks for your help so far0
