Hi all
Looked online but seem to have mixed messages , basically I was off after after testing positive with COVID-19 and obviously islolated for 10 days before going back to work.
It seems that I have not been paid for the time I was off 'ill'.
Is there a form or some sort of notification I should have submitted on return to work or can my employer legally withold my pay and I just claim SSP?
I was however well enough to work from home
Sorry, not sure how the system works. Can anyone please advise me
Thank you

If your employer has no work for you while you are self isolating, then the normal route is SSP, so long as you are entitled to it. Your employer should pay it.

Where you working from home or did you phone in sick.
If the former then ask them why they didn't pay you - I would suspect a c0ck-up.
If the latter then what does your contract say about sick pay? If it is silent or says SSP or that full sick pay is discretionary then yes, they can legally only pay you SSP.
