Hi new to this so forgive me if already been asked I couldn’t find a thread on it.
My wife’s business had to lock down in March as she is none essential, at the time we didn’t claim for business interruption insurance as we didn’t quite understand it, since then her insurance has renewed and we used a different company, so my question is can she claim it from her old company as the ruling was changed the other week?

It will depend on the terms of the insurance, both what is covered and the time claims are allowed.

You an certainly claim after a policy has lapsed for incidents within the policy dates, but as Jeremy says it would also be subject to any limitations on timing of claims imposed by your policy-and we can't see the terms from here.
