RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/)
(the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the
Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Secure Your Seat’ radio
competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 20th
January to Friday 29th January 2021 on Heart London (the “Radio
Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”)
will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the
Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to the Competition
entry page on https://www.heart.co.uk/london/ and register their details
to be in the draw to play.
4. Online entry will open at 08:00 on Wednesday 20th January 2021 and close at 09:00 on Friday 29th January 2021.

Each weekday from Monday 25th January 2021 to Friday 29th January 2021
at 09:00, 2 Entrants will be selected at random from all eligible
registrations to come to air to play the Competition.
6. The Entrant selected first will be Player A, the Entrant selected second will be Player B.
7. The Heart presenter(s) will begin a 40 second round of general knowledge questions. The presenter(s) will start asking questions to player A. If a player answers a question incorrectly, hesitates or doesn’t know the answer, the other player will take control of play and be asked the questions. This process will continue until the 40 seconds are up. Whoever is in control of play and being asked the questions at the end of the 40 seconds is the winner.
8. Hesitation will be deemed as taking more than three seconds to answer a question.
9. The producer’s decision on whether a player answers incorrectly, is hesitating or doesn’t know the answer is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

HOLIDAY PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

In addition to the provisions set out at clauses 21 and 36 in the
General Competition Terms & Conditions relating to fulfilment of
prizes, our ability to fulfil a prize, or perform any of our
obligations under the General Competition Terms and Conditions or these
Specific Rules (together, the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) could
be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or
quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or
ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth &
Development Office guidance) (Covid Measures).
If, due to Covid
Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other
obligations under the Competition Terms and Conditions, (for example, if
the prize is a Holiday Prize to a destination where UK travellers are
unable to travel to or advised against travelling to as a result of the
Covid Measures), then we shall not be in breach of the Competition Terms
and Conditions. In these circumstances, we will try and mitigate the
effects of the Covid Measures, for example, by varying or swapping the
prize in accordance with the provisions at clause 21. A Holiday Prize

56. Jet2holidays reserves the right (but
shall be under no obligation) substitute any prize with alternative
dates/property or destinations of equal or greater value.
57. The
prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The prize
must be taken by the prize winner (who must be over the age of 18) along
with their selected travel companions notified to Jet2holidays in the
relevant booking, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified
within the prize details. Flights must be taken at the same time from
the same airport.
58. The Prize Winner will be contacted by
Global within 14 days of winning the competition, with instructions on
how to book their travel directly with Jet2holidays.
59. Any
optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the
standard Jet2holidays or Jet2.com terms and conditions and any
applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking
for all the travelling party.
60. The prize duration cannot
be extended, and the hotel and/or room type will not be changed by the
winner. Any additional passengers booked will be charged at normal rates
for additional flights and rooms. Please note, once you have made a
booking you cannot amend the travel dates.

certain destinations are only available on certain days.
65. This
prize includes 1 free item of checked baggage per person up to 22kg and
airport transfers to and from the hotel. Provided that the winner lives
within the UK, if a winner doesn’t live within a reasonable radius to
the airport (60 miles) then Jet2holidays will arrange transport for the
winner to get to the airport (this may include any form of transport
such as train, coach, bus or taxi, to be selected at Jet2holidays
discretion).
66. Travel insurance and spending money is provided by Global.
67. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements.

The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Secure Your Seat’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 20th January to Friday 29th January 2021 on Heart Yorkshire (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to the Competition entry page on https://www.heart.co.uk/yorkshire/ and register their details to be in the draw to play.
4. Online entry will open at 08:00 on Wednesday 20th January 2021 and close at 09:00 on Friday 29th January 2021.
5. Each weekday from Monday 25th January 2021 to Friday 29th January 2021 at 09:00, 2 Entrants will be selected at random from all eligible registrations to come to air to play the Competition.6. The Entrant selected first will be Player A, the Entrant selected second will be Player B.
7. The Heart presenter(s) will begin a 40 second round of general knowledge questions. The presenter(s) will start asking questions to player A. If a player answers a question incorrectly, hesitates or doesn’t know the answer, the other player will take control of play and be asked the questions. This process will continue until the 40 seconds are up. Whoever is in control of play and being asked the questions at the end of the 40 seconds is the winner.
8. Hesitation will be deemed as taking more than three seconds to answer a question.
9. The producer’s decision on whether a player answers incorrectly, is hesitating or doesn’t know the answer is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reason or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
