There is a time limit for the appeal to be submitted, so you should be checking with the courts just after that deadline to see if has been done, and at regular intervals for a while after that.

I agree that the scammers losing an appeal about byelaws will do a lot of harm to the parking scamdustry.

Many of these DDJ's work in a certain area of the law. They are not full time judges. This particular judge's area of expertise is banking and finance. At least his decision was in favour of the defendant.

Think fee is £120, they will need a transcript to show an error in law, which wont be cheap, and so i really doubt they will appeal.
agree, seems a bit of a dead end when POFA is actually very clear.

I don't think that we should get away from the fact that this is a win. :)

The fee for the appeal is expensive. They are unlikely to throw more money at it whatever the rep says. The rep was probably not looking forward to phoning VCS with the news of the lost claim.

IT'S A WIN ....... VCS won one yesterday and lost today.

Any profit, even that cup of coffee ..... WIPED OUT

Just as a matter of interest the reps do get a bit carried away when they are given the right to appeal. The rep at my hearing told me that it was the first time that he had ever been given the right to appeal.
