Parking notice from MET Parking Services Limited

I received a notice in 2019 for £50 and researched online and read that as was a notice and not a fine was not enforceable. MET were difficult to deal with and I then received letter from Debt Recovery Plus increasing to £100. Then another chaser increasing to £170. I have now received a letter from CST Law headed up Unpaid debt. I am looking to see if others have suffered this and recommendation of action to take. I made an honest mistake of visiting car park twice despite McDonalds where I visited telling me it was ok to park there. Appreciate any help and comments

Dozens of people on here have similar letters , read their threads but especially read the CST law letters forum group thread lower down the page ,which contains most of them

Also read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , third thread down from the top , in announcements

Plan A is your best option , complain to Mickey dees direct and go for a cancellation

Ps , your problem is an extremely common problem with hundreds of met threads on here

Oh, that really is scam getting close to fraud/

DRP ARE JUST IDIOTS TO IGNORE

CST are now a border line case following their nasty cousins.

We have a dedicated thread to the CST rubbish

    CST letters' forum group thread

MET are benign and CST Law letters are all the same.

Join the CST Law group thread and we don't mean post on it -- we really don't need to see those same old laughable letters again (please). We mean read all 27 pages (which cover cases in England, Scotland and Wales) to put your mind at rest. That is, if you fail to get the landowner/retailer to cancel the scam ticket.  No-one needs to ask about that because it is PLAN A in the NEWBIES thread for all countries, all stages, never too late.

See you back here only if MET break the habit of a lifetime  and try court claims, LOL!

It's the organisation you pay to provide you with junk substance to gulp down your oesophageal tract!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
