Hello.
Im looking for an answer to this:
A company can no longer pay the NI contributions due to the most recent lockdown. All company funds have dried up.

Can an employee who wants to be paid furlough pay the NI themselves legally?

Sounds as if the employer is shortly going to be no more. Unless further finance becomes available,
Furloughing staff can only help to a limited degree.0 -
The company isn’t about to fold. It is just reducing costs until lockdown is lifted and business resumes.0

My company say that because there is no business at the moment due to lockdown that they can not pay furlough. This is because the company have to contribute NI and pension. Is there anyway around this at the moment?0

You have no entitlement to furlough.0

You can’t force a company to furlough you unfortunately, no matter how many times you start a thread asking the same question. How long have you worked there for?1

It's entirely the decision of your employer whether they choose to furlough you and you can't force them to do this. How many hours contract do you have or is it zero hours? This exact same question was also posted by you twice yesterday and there's answers on your other threads. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6230287/furlough#latestPosting multiple threads isn't going to help because the answers will still be the same.

What contract do you have, zeros hours? If you don't answer the questions asked then no one can help you...
