Two colleagues - two issues

I work for an essential retailer so still working.
One colleague says support bubbles don't exist anymore. I keep saying go on the GOV website for the correct info and continues to go on about they don't exist anymore.
Another colleague is concerned about being picked up from work by her son (she lives alone and son is support bubble). She lives in a group of houses at the bottom of a road. They have their own lighting down there - not council. Lighting has not worked since mid Oct. With lockdowns and Christmas, the housing association says the repairing of the lights has been delayed by the lockdowns. The lack of lighting makes it pitch black down there. She doesn't drive but feels safe when her son drives her back home from work. She is concerned that the police will not count picking up a key worker from work due to HnS doesn't count.
Thanks for your help

You're right on both counts.
Thanks for keeping the wheels on economy turning at risk to yourself. Hope you're staying safe!4 -
Support bubbles definately still exist.

And if second colleague is in support bubble then they are not breaking any rules being in the same car and I would view her son giving her a lift in the same way as getting a taxi home would be viewed, which is also still allowed.1 -
As long as her son is not in an extended household with anybody else.1
