Hi, does anyone know if a cash refund is a much reduced price of the total amount paid for a hoilday, we requested a cash refund for a hoilday cancelled by the company, last minute.com due to COVID, the hoilday was 950, they have paid us 175 and said that’s it, I’m hitting my head against a wall as all they say it’s been paid .

If it's a package holiday booking (and confirmed as such on your ATOL certificate) then yes, you're entitled to a full refund if it's cancelled by the provider.  As I recall, lastminute.com have been among the companies trying to palm customers off with tales of how they'll need to pursue airlines themselves, while only refunding accommodation costs, but under the Package Travel Regulations they're obliged to refund the whole package cost - they were reminded of their obligations by the CMA last month and reluctantly agreed to stump up....
