Furlough pay with a pay rise

I work as a manager in hospitality and I am currently on furlough. I had a salary pay rise after the first national lockdown in September, however being on furlough again due to the tier system, my furlough pay is being calculated on my salary from March 2020. 

Obviously I am extremely grateful for the JRS and it being extended until April. It has given me and millions of others continuing job security. 

Not wanting to sound greedy, but am I entitled to furlough pay based on my new normal salary that I received from September onwards...? My company seems say no as the calculations are based on salaries from March 2020. In a different scenario I could have been a brand new employee on the equivalent of my new salary and joined prior to October 2020 and would therefore receive furlough payments based on that new salary. Therefore am I getting penalised for length of service with my company..? Can the company choose to base my furlough payments on my new salary if they wish or are they bound by March 2020..??

I cannot find any literature on this anywhere so I was hoping someone might have some insight into this. 

Really appreciate anyone’s help and advice.

The reference salary for CJRS is unchanged since March.

So even with a pay rise the reference salary is all that would apply? I am effectively not getting 80% of my normal salary as a result that would mean which is a real shame.

Yes, the reference salary is unchanged for those in the same job.
If it were any other way, it could be open to some abuse.
Later reference dates only apply to new starter.
