Tier 4 funeral travel

Been informed by the funeral director for Nan's funeral that due to covid they are not providing cars for anyone full stop.
This isn't an issue I was aware of before today, is it typical?
With having no car and no household mixing or mixing at the funeral allowed, it'll have to be taxis.
We did taxis for Grandad's then Uncle's funeral and both were such dreadful experiences I swore this time I wouldn't do it, but now it seems I have no choice.

Been no cars since last March I believe.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.1

We had cars provided for a December funeral, but only one household/support bubble allowed in each car.

A disadvantage of choosing not to drive I guess.
Can you ask someone attending to bring their car?0
