TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISSTORY- WICKES TRADEPRO – Trade-Legend” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	In order to be eligible to win, entrants must go online to kissfmuk.co.uk and tell us the following details:     Full name and contact details Nominate a ‘Tradesperson’ they know who they feel deserves to win £400. The entry must include details of who they are nominating, the trade this person works in and then tell us why this person should win.   Entries will be judged on how entertaining, compelling, heart-warming and how deserving the entry is. All entries will be judged by the KISSTORY production team, the production manager and an independent judge.   We will be shortlisting entries from the open of the competition on the 04/01/2021 at 00.01 until the close of the competition online entry period on 14/01/2021 at 10:00. Once a person has entered, their entry will be eligible to be selected for shortlisting at any point up until the close of the competition.   All nominators will be called ahead the competition segment being recorded.  If the chosen nominator is unavailable when we come to call them, a backup nominator will be chosen in their place and the original nominator may miss out on winning.   On shortlisting, we will require the nominators to coherently explain their entry and discuss the nomination. The entry must be compelling and match the entry that was entered online. The nominators will need to explain in detail the reason why their nomination deserves the £400 cash prize. On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner by the production team.   From 10/01/2021 – 14/01/2021 the nominator and nominated will be called by KISSTORY presenter Tinea* and a segment of being awarded the prize will be recorded and will be broadcast between 1pm-5pm the next working day. If the nominated is unavailable to take the call the prize will still be awarded to them and they will be contacted by a member of the production team after the segment goes to air.   *If in unseen circumstances KISSTORY presenter Tinea is unavailable an alternative KISSTORY presenter will take the place within the judging process and announcement of the daily winner.
2.Entry Platforms and Costs	(A)       Online at kissfmuk.co.uk     Online entry is free.
3. DATES	Start Date and End Date. Pre-registration: from 04/01/2021 at 00.01 (Start Date) to 14/01/2021 at 10.00 (End Date).   The on-air portions of this comp and the announcement of the winners will take place each day from 11/01/2021 until 15/01/2021, between 1pm and 5pm. The nominator/ nominated will be given information of when the exact timings will be ahead of being brought to air/ being asked to pre-record a segment that will be broadcast on-air.   Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.   Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the winners will be announced on KISSTORY from 11/01/2021- 15/01/2021 between 1pm and 5pm.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.   One entry per person.   Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.   If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. The full list of Bauer Media brands can be found here: https://www.bauermedia.co.uk/brands    In order to be considered to be one of the winners, the person nominated (aka the recipient of the £400) must be a registered ‘Tradesperson’. This must be proved by providing some form of ID that proves the nominated person works in the trade (a listing on TradePoint, CheckATrade, TrustMark or any other Tradesperson ranking site will be considered as acceptable proof).
5. THE PRIZE	The following prize will be awarded to the winners of the competition:   £400 cash prize.   The prize will be provided to the winners in the form of a cheque or a bank transfer to the winner.    Use of a false name will result in disqualification.   The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. Wickes reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value at any time. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wickes. Entrants who sign up to the Wickes marketing can opt out at any time. All marketing content which is sent to entrants will have an opt-out link within the content.

 

OTHER CONDITIONS

 

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.
   1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.
   2. Entrants may not enter more than once.
   3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
   4. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
   5. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
   6. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
   7. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
   8. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
   9. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
