Furlough pay and notice period

Hello,
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
I left my employer mid November with a months notice, when I received my P45 it said my end date was the end of November and I haven't been paid since end of November.
I've been furlough this whole time and read that the government have stopped paying furlough to people in notice period after Dec 2020.
Is my employer changing the date to avoid paying me? Or is this legal? I obviously didn't work for them during December so I'm not owed money technically.
Many thanks for your help.

If you received a month's notice mid-November and then on garden leave, you should be paid up to mid-December. Often, companies just pay that in the final month, November in your case.0

This is a bit confusing as on your previous thread you said that you had handed in your two week notice with an end date of mid November. Did your old employer vary this notice?

There was a change in start dates and I asked my employer if I could extend my leave, they agreed to this and I handed in a revised notice with the new end date. I wasn't informed at the time that regardless my end date would remain for end November.0

Did they actually pay you up to middle of December? Or just end of November? Often payroll departments will just calculate pay and issue P45's to make life easier for themselves, If you have not been underpaid then I don't think you have lost out in anyway.
