Dishwashers Out of Stock Since June.

Hi all 

I don't suppose anyone knows when dishwashers might become available again? I know they're not an essential item but I cannot buy one for love nor money. 
We managed to order one on an appliance website which they did not have in stock. I learned this the day before the scheduled delivery when they emailed to say they were waiting on a delivery from their supplier. We rescheduled two more times with the same outcome before cancelling the order. 

I am specifically looking for a black one that is not integrated.

It appears that it is your very specific black and non integrated requirements that are the problem. If you wanted integrated or white you could have one of many dozens of models delivered tomorrow. Black dishwashers are a tiny percentage of the market, they are probably not produced constantly but on a sporadic basis, with the 6-8 weeks by sea from China the middle of next year would not seem that surprising in current circumstances.

Cheers for the suggestions - unfortunately when I put my postcode in it says unavailable in my area. 

Those companies that say they're in stock appear to be falsely advertising. I've order from two separate companies but they failed to deliver on the promised dates and stated they were waiting on suppliers. 

I think that the fact that Currys, AO, and Argos have no stock for my region is a good indicator that few, if any, are currently available.
