Notice of Sum in Arrears - Refund of Interest or Default Sums

in Credit cards
Whilst throwing out some old credit card paperwork I've found a letter from Cahoot sating that because they didn't send me a Notice of Sum in Arrears as required by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 they were refunding money they should not have charged in interest and default sums that accrued whilst the Notice(s) was missing. I used to have a large umber of other credit cards and suspect the same thing might have happened with some of those credit cards; that is; a Notice of Sum in Arrears wasn't issued when it should have been (or possibly at all).
Does one know the best way to check this please? The only thing I've thought of is to send an SAR to the relevant credit card company and check if a Notice of Sum in Arrears is held on record.
I'd be grateful for any other ideas please as I'm not an expert on the Consumer Credit Act!
Thanks.

It's very unlikely to have happened on your other cards as it's fairly rare and only ever impacts small batches.
You'll be contacted if an issue is discovered on any of your other cards.0
