That's irrelevant. You put yourself out of the country and had no arrangements to deal with post.  No help to yiu

as above. Can you definitively state you were not the driver? Simple yes or no. Don't elaborate.

Hopefully you have read enough here to know that there is no obligation on you to name the driver and their deadlines ()and allegations) mean diddly squat.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • So I submitted a CPR 31.14 and SAR requests to DCB Legal and Highview Parking respectively
and have now received the below responses from them.

On their part, DCB Legal replied that as a claim has been issued, they are not obliged to
provide evidence at this stage unless ordered to do so by the Court.

Highview Parking on the other hand have requested I complete a return a form they've sent
me, as they are required under GDPR to validate my identity prior to releasing personal data.

Looking further, I am now rather keen to begin putting together a defence statement and would
be extremely grateful for any assistance or advice towards that.

    Indeed you must.

It is now over three weeks since I wrote:
...you have until 4pm on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 to file your Defence.

On that same post I wrote:
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.

I assume you did file an Acknowledgment of Service?

  • I received the standard letter from dcbl today regarding a 5 year old parking charge. I have tried to distil the best thing to do from this thread but I must admit I have got a little lost. Could someone advise please what is the best way to proceed? I appreciate it is likely to be a form of a scam but I would like to minimise the stress and resolve this in the simplest way possible.  Many thanks.

Sigh. Where do people get this CPR31.14 rubbish from? It does not apply to the small claims track
    OP
You have had 3 weeks to write a defence, that takes 30 minutes to do.
  • I finally managed to put together a draft of my 3 page defence statement (attached). Would appreciate a review and feedback on the arguments put across in my statement. Thanks folks.

That looks nothing like the template defence from the sticky threads where you only need to amend two paragraphs to suit your case.

You haven't explained what The PoFA is. You need to use the full name of anything plus the initials/acronym the first time you use it, then just the initials/acronym thereafter.
