Strange ring doorbell issues

Our Ring doorbell chime has been making motion sounds on and off for the last hour randomly, even though there is no motion. also, on the ring app, it doesnt seem to be storing/recording motion on the doorbell camera, only live view video clips. Tried Ring support via chat, and its currently not available. Tried resetting the doorbell chime, but its still sounding every 5 minutes for no reason.
Is anyone elses Ring products playing up or being temperamental this evening please?

Mine too. I went onto the Ring app & it states there have been problems. Seems it’s probably a glitch in their systems. Hope it’s resolved today:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

Incidentally, I have had mine for 1 month & the free trial of subscription has expired so I now only have Live view & cant check previous recordings. Is there any work around this or do I only have the option of paying £2 a month?:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

or buy a video doorbell that accepts a micro sd card and all recordings are saved on that for free. i use a Homeflow one as we sell this brand after having issues with Ring, but there are others around (and cheaper than Ring). Works just as well btwKatykat said:Incidentally, I have had mine for 1 month & the free trial of subscription has expired so I now only have Live view & cant check previous recordings. Been down the road of a cheaper doorbell. It was ok for 6 months, then conked out.tonygold said:or buy a video doorbell that accepts a micro sd card and all recordings are saved on that for free. i use a Homeflow one as we sell this brand after having issues with Ring, but there are others around (and cheaper than Ring).
