One way insurance from Australia

Hello, my girlfriend has booked flights for November from Sydney to Glasgow, to come home after living in Oz for a couple of years, but she's having trouble finding anyone to insure a one way flight. Nobody seems to do so any more. If anyone can recommend a company I'd be most grateful. Thanks.

You typically cannot buy travel insurance from a U.K. insurer when already outside the U.K.  This site is also predominantly viewed by U.K. residents/users so knowledge of Australian travel insurance may be limited. She might be better looking around and seeking help in Australia on similar consumer forum sites or from Australian insurance companies.

What would be covered by the insurance she is looking for?  Normally travel insurance is mainly to cover expenses of illness or accidents while on holiday which is not needed here.
