Im a bit confused/uneducated in the stock markets. I opened one of those Freetrade accounts, which has served me well for its intended purpose. Codemasters was a free share but it’s showing in my account as worth 0.00. Checked HL and it’s showing as ORD GBP0.01. Yet the quoted sell price is 375.00p and a buy price of 385.00p.
Why, on the face of it, is it showing as a valueless share?

When you say Freetrade gifted you a free share, are you sure it isn’t a fractional share, such as 0.005 of a share? It’s very common for these trading app companies to split shares into smaller amounts for new investors, such as yourself, to participate in the stock market.
The ‘ORD GBP 0.01’ bit is stating that they are ‘ordinary shares’ and their nominal value is 1p each, to save going into details this doesn’t mean much to you so I wouldn’t worry about it."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

Not familiar with the Freetrade incentive, but I think it is a free whole share they give away in the referral scheme. Perhaps there are extra hoops you need to jump through, or a wait time, before the share becomes available to sell at its market price?Edit: it does look like you can sell straight away, but proceeds cannot be withdrawn for 30 days. I'd suggest checking the price again when markets are open.

I knew someone would come up with something these lines.
And for good reason. You dont know what you are doing but have really gone into the niche market where many people lose money.
