EasyJet refund has been returned to a credit card cancelled 7 months ago due to fraudulent activity

Hi EasyJet have refunded the money for a cancelled flight to a Halifax card that is no longer in use due to fraudulent activity. I have spoken to the Halifax credit card team who have tried to find this money for me but unfortunately the old card is no longer linked to me new card. They say they can undertake a missing refund search but I need to provide them with EasyJets remitting bank and the sort code. I have tried to contact EasyJet to ascertain this via email,twitter,direct message on twitter and via the phone line which just rings for 50 minutes plus and then disconnects. Can anyone help me with this please.

You just need to keep trying Easy Jet, to get the bank details.

While trying to get hold of easy jet, you could explain to halifax the extra work that you're having to put in due to them not linking the card to your account and ask to make a complaint so they can compensate you for your time.
