No wages paid despite going through hmrc

Hi firstly I'm not sure if this is in the correct place so please feel free to show me where paye/tax/pay issues would be best.

As per my thread yesterday I am currently on maternity leave on smp. Since april my company changed pay roll and i have not had one correct pay as of yet. This month i checked my hmrc tax account as there was no payslip on my portal yet. I saw a huge overpayment due. This morning. Payday nothing is in my bank. I contacted my manager and she says payroll cancelled the payment so I wouldnt get a overpayment. Then at some point will need to make a seperate payment of just smp.
I have a telephone call with cab this week but how do they amend my hmrc account so that tax credits and housing benefit can see I never recieved that overpayment.

Well so far I've not recieved anything

Have you contacted HMRC to ask?  Generally, they can only speak directly to you, not to your employer, about your account.
