Can I take two weeks holiday

My company will not let me take two weeks holiday in one go! Is this legal. We are only allowed to take holiday in one week slots. Nothing stated saying this in my contract? ( It is a small family business though, with no hr.)

An employer can accept or decline holidays it does not to be in the contract.

The employer could actually tell you what dates you will have your holiday and leave you with no choice. Annoying but legal.
