Non-working laptop second screen?

Hi, my old laptop stopped booting up and I gave up on it. I have a new laptop. I'm currently working from home using my personal laptop and I need a second screen to help me do my work more easily. Is there any way I can use the non-working laptop to link it as the second screen? Thank you.

Not that I can think of no. The second laptop isn’t a monitor. The screen is attached directly to the motherboard of the old laptop - so can’t see a way you’ll get a direct connection.1

Thank you, cymruchris. Think I might try to link it to a small TV monitor that I have. Don't really want to buy a second monitor as don't know how long I'll be working from home for.0
