Is it possible to block a YouTube channel from appearing in your suggested video feed?

I use the desktop version of YouTube and when i fire it up there's all these suggestions. There's a particular channel i'd like to have never appear in these suggestions but don't seem to be able to do it. I blocked it but that only seems to block them from contacting me.
Is this something that's possible?

Hover over the thumbnail of video and you should see 3 vertical dots next to the title of video. click it and you should get options and one will be don't recommend channel.2

I went in to the channels page and tried to do it from there and there's no such option. It seems i'll need to wait for it to appear on my suggestion feed as that's the only time i see that option on a video.1

"Don't Recommend" and "block this channel" are two entirely different things. The "don't recommend" probably only appears when you log in.

For example, the hiding drives thread i made some time ago is probably a fair example.People are then wanting to know my blood type, when i last went to the toilet, what i had for breakfast on the 15th March 1987 and all other 'relevant' info before they answer my question. It would be a fair guess in this case to think i am not wanting to see content from a channel. These same in depth people as before could see the current question and say: No, there is no option to block the channel as you ask, but you could select to not recommend the channel and this is how you do it, it may provide what you're looking for.Anyway, we got there in the end0

I don't remember having that much of an issue with it.There's 2 that are particularly bad with a third i'd give a 'notable mention' to. The Savings & Banking forums are fantastic though.0
