Balance transfer from family member's cards

I recently applied and received a MBNA balance transfer card but was then told I can’t transfer from anyone else .It appears Halifax have the same rules ,are there any companies that still allow this ?

Yes, most of them. The cardholder name is generally not asked.
If you're particularly risk averse, lenders such as Barclaycard specifically say it's ok.

You can always give it a go and see if they process the BT's?I would be sceptical about taking on even family members debt but if you like walking on the wild side......0
