Splitting airline booking

Hello
My brother booked flights for a family holiday however we would now like to split the booking as some would like to transfer their flight to a different date and others would like to hold on to original flight and hope for cancellation so a refund or a credit voucher could be issued and new flight booked at a later point. Anyone aware if this is possible with low cost airlines or had any previous experiences?

A different date is probably not going to be any earlier or so I would think.
Wait for the company to cancel and refund or issue vouchers, then everybody can do what they want.
If you cancel (which is probably your only option if you don't want to wait) then you stand to lose money0 -
Thank you for your help. That would be the most sensible option. Wanted to see if anyone is aware of this being possible.0

I've had a booking split before, but wasn't with a low cost airline. Depends on if their systems allow it and they have a process for it. Only people who will know are the airline.0
