    What?  You are not emailing ANYTHING to the parking firm.  They are using a solicitor!

    Yes I mean is it OK to just email the solicitor? as on the County court claim form they list an address for sending documents - to the claimant's legal representative.

    It is OK to use e-mail if they have previously used e-mail to communicate with you - unless it states anywhere "service not accepted by email".

    @Coupon-mad, that was once true, but since you have edited the post I linked to, it no longer helps the OP with that query.

    I made adjustments as soon as I realised that changes were necessary, but it is clearly impracticable to make retrospective changes.

    Currently I am directing people towards the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

    If the guidance always remains either in the NEWBIES thread or linked from it, my posts will always point people in the right direction.
