CASH BACK - Conran and Carphone Warehouse?

Like most of you I'm searching for a new cash back card, its not easy. After Amex, the best cards are the Conran [run by MBNA] and Carphone Warehouse [run by Halifax].

I find the Conran card less then clear on its reward process, so I'm thinking of staying clear in favour of the Carphone Warehouse card which gives 0.5% of the first 2k and 1% after, 5% if used in the Carphone Warehouse.

Any thoughts?

It depends what your annual spend is. If it's relatively low, Morgan Stanley do 1% on the first 2k then 0.5% on amounts above this.

I have a MS and looking to change as my spend is well over 10k a year.

Anyone have a Carphone Warehouse card?

I have a Conran card, haven't used it yet though (waiting for my PIN), but have been assured by MBNA that I will get at least 0.8% cashback at least, and probably more.

One thing I do find annoying about MBNA is that each time I call up they ask me if I want to transfer a balance and if I want credit card protection. However the customer services is an 0800 number, which makes a change though!
