Withdraw more money than balance then transfer money in afterwords

If I have a balance of £100 in my Natwest current account and withdraw £200 from an ATM at 9:00pm and transfer £100 into the account at 11:00pm will I incur any fees or suffer any penalties?

Depends on what time their end of the day is.
What you may find is that if you do not have a O/D that it will not let you take that much cash.

The mind boggles. How do you get £100 between 9pm and 11pm, after you spent £200 in the same timeframe? I also have a £1k o/d facility with NatWest and have gone into this with SOs and DDs. I have transferred money in from Marcus before 2:00 pm and never been charged by NatWest.0

Why not withdraw the money from the account it is in? Or transfer it before you want to withdraw it from another account?Retiredin2009 said:
