Can I be bought off furlough during the 3 week period

I have had a letter from my organisation saying I have been furloughed from 1st April.  I understand the minimum term to be furloughed is 3 weeks - I have received a phone call this morning saying I am to return to work on Tuesday next week.  The letter I received states it's for 3 weeks.  I don't know if the company has decided not to claim and I am not being furloughed? Can anybody offer any advice.  Many thanks

The minimum period to make a claim for a furloughed employee is 3 weeks so if they bring you in earlier then your employer will no be able to claim for that period, simple as that really.

Many thanks.  I haven't been told if I'm being bought back off furlough just that I need to work from Tuesday

Well you can't be both. You're either furloughed or your working.

If we have been advised we are furloughed, are we allowed to be on standby for our rostered shift, to attend within 2 hours of any call to return?
