    Yes.

If your employee has more than one job

If your employee has more than one employer they can be furloughed for each job. Each job is separate, and the cap applies to each employer individually.

Employees can be furloughed in one job and receive a furloughed payment but continue working for another employer and receive their normal wages.

    Yes.......
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
  • My husband was furloughed on 2 April due to decreasing work until June.  He has now been called back to work and his employers say furlough is cancelled.  Is this right?

I believe they can cancel furlough but it does mean they would need to pay him his contractual pay for the period from 2nd April to when they call him back, and it means the company don't get to reclaim any of that money from the government.

Furlough is for a minimum of 3 weeks, so if they cancel now they have to pay him the full wage.
But yes, furlough can be cancelled - so he has to go back (or remain on unpaid leave)

I'm also looking for advice on something similar.  We have been advised we have been furloughed, but are required to be on call for the duration of our rostered shifts, with attendance expected within 2 hours of any call. I work in the airline industry and a call is very unlikely at this time, but is this right?

I don't see how it can be, as you are not allowed to do any work for your employer during furlough.

I don't know that the three week restriction applies to what the employer agrees with the employee. What is true is that the employer will not be able to get reimbursed by the government for that two week. It sons;t stop the employer only paying 80% of the salary to the employee. May depend on what the agreement between the employer and employee said.

You can not be on call. Answering a how do you do something question would be fine, but you can't go and do it yourself.
