I opened a PO Online saver when it was highlighted  by MSE  to take advantage of the 1.24% interest,  prior to moving later in the year. It took quite a while for the initial deposit of £100, then 3 deposits of 1k to go in after opening, but now it is several days since i did another transfer for 5K yet it has neither gone from bank account to PO.   Then i set up the PO as new payee in the bank and a nominal £5 has gone through in 2 hours!  Why should it take so long for transfers arranged on the PO website, yet same day when done in bank account?    Any advice/explanation as to why??
