Overseas Wedding - Credit Card Protection?

Thanks for all the replies everyone.

We called the credit card company and asked. They have said that we will have to wait and see if our flights to Thailand are cancelled first then we can try and make a claim. We're still hoping we can travel but nothing is for sure right now so we just have to wait and see what the situation is nearer the time.

If you are in Scotland and the Thaliand wedding gets cancelled why not consider Gretna Green. The countryside in Scotland is fantastic. consider a simple ceremony now in Scotland and a big bash later on when the corona Virus is over.

Besides you cant get deep fried Mars Bars or Vegan Haggis and Irn brew in Thailland.
