Disputing a Debt - Proof of Address

Hello, I would appreciate any advice in relation to my situation.

I recently received a letter from a debt collection agency relating to an unpaid bill for a Sky account registered to my old rental address. I left the property in 2015, and the dca has confirmed that the unpaid debt is dated 2019. I have been told that the only proof of address the creditor will accept is an end of tenancy agreement, which I cannot locate. Do I have any other options? It seems wrong that only one proof of address will be accepted.

Thanks for any assistance!
