Hi  not sure if I'm posting in right place but need some advice please.  My grandma who is 102 lives independently in a retirement flat. it's a block of around 10 flats and the outside maintenance is taken care of by a company called plumblife. they sent a letter to all the residents on Friday informing them that there would be an increase in charges from £108.00 month to £135.00 a month. and that they would be making the change on the next payment on the 1st April. My questions are can they just do that ? just inform and take? obviously I think they need to come and explain why there is such a massive increase however as she is well over 70 I really dont want her going to any meetings as she is vulnerable to the Corona virus. is there anything you can suggest I put in a letter to state my concerns over the way they feel they can increase the charges to however much they wish.
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks lyns
