Flight claim following Cruise cancellation

Hi
Looking for some advice. A cruise I booked has been cancelled. I now have flights that are no use to me and the airline won't let me cancel, they will let me move the dates by a month but that's no use. Both were booked separately however they were both booked using a credit card - different cards - and over £100. I've got travel insurance but they've passed the buck saying to ask the airline/credit card first. Can I claim for consequential losses from the card that I used to book the cruise with?
Thx

You can't claim because the flights are available so there is no breach of contract between you and the airline.0

Back to travel ins co and complain that they are failing in their duty.Life in the slow lane0

If the flights were booked separately then they are considered separately - if the flights are not cancelled and are still available then you have no claim against anyone.
The fact that your cruise ship was cancelled, or your favourite library you wanted to visit has closed, or the weather at the destination is not as good as you expected matters not one jot.
