  • 08:10 and I've just had a call from BWL asking what my intentions are. guy on the phone said I could set up a payment plan today or pay in full otherwise I'd face a CCJ. I told him this wasn't the case and he was giving misleading information and then he denied saying it and wouldn't repeat it.

It is always a good idea to tell scammers they are being recorded, even if they are not.

  • So I've filed my defence, but think I may have been too hasty and just sent it off on the website before reading the defence thread on here. My bad I know. But I have asked PPS for the PDT printout on 08 October, they told me to contact BWL for it which I have on 20 October, 27 October and 04 November. Each time they tell me they have requested it from their client but can't give me a timeframe. Should I just keep emailing them and asking for it or just leave it and show they are not co-opporating?

It's the responsibility of PPS to provide this information as part of your SAR. Once the 30 days is up send them a reminder and then lodge a complaint with the ICO. (Remind PPS that it's an offence under Section 173(3) of the 2018 DPA to block the release of this information).
Thank you, I requested it as part of the SAR but PPS told me it wasn’t personal information so I had to request it through BWL who keep telling me they can’t give me a timescale on when I’ll receive it

They are wrong; here's what the ICO says (my bold):-
    https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr/key-definitions/what-is-personal-data/
    • "Personal data only includes information relating to natural persons who:
      • can be identified or who are identifiable, directly from the information in question; or
      • who can be indirectly identified from that information in combination with other information."
They know who bought the ticket because you have given them a copy; (it's the same principle as VRM's).
Awesome, thank you. I'll get on to it and get a reminder sent and compliant with the ICO as suggested.
