WHSmiths Night Garden books

I have just been to WHSmiths and they are doing an offer of all books in the Children's top 20 are half price (the top 20 paperbacks and hardbacks too). The little library, Macca Pacca washes Faces and All Aboard the Ninky Nonk are all in the top 20.
Well they are also doing an offer of 3 for 2 on all children's books. I didn't think the two would work together, just wanted the half price INTG books but when I went to the till I also got 3 for 2 which works out as follows:
All books are 3.99 each RRP, half price brings them down to 1.99 each and then take off one for the 3 for 2 and I got two large books and the little library for the grand total of £3.98 :j

it didnt work for me today! they werent half price so just the 342 worked. i ended up spending £11 on 3 books0

That's strange because even on just 3 for 2 they should work out to £8
Each book is £3.99, it only works on the three titles in the top 20. I wonder if it is only certain stores doing the half price offer? 0 -
M&S have got some in the night garden books on 3 for 2 i think there was a little library set as well0
