Yes, assuming you used it to pay at least part of the ticket cost. Call them up and explain the situation.0

Just called them and they said I have to wait until the 11th March before making a claim,,not sure why,, maybe because I only booked them in the last month or so,0

Yes, Virgin Atlantic are responsible for re-arranging your connecting flight.alanparis67 said:I have book through virgin Atlantic to go to New york from Glasgow but my outward bound flight had a flybe connection to Heathrow do virgin Atlantic have to find me a new connection0 -
I'm not an expert but it could be because at the moment Flybe is only in administration, not liquidation, meaning that it's still theoretically possible that the administrators could find somone willing to bail the company out ....kitty1233 said:Just called them and they said I have to wait until the 11th March before making a claim,,not sure why,, maybe because I only booked them in the last month or so,

Is 10th march when you were due to fly?kitty1233 said:Just called them and they said I have to wait until the 11th March before making a claim,,not sure why,, maybe because I only booked them in the last month or so,
As at the moment we can't action a chargeback till the day after the flight was due.
Large companies going under like this are a nightmare even for us staff. The information on what we have to do for customers can change several times a day.
We just have to deal as we normally would. But often we are told to hold cases till we get more information. It is only once Visa/Mastercard & the banks sit down and thrash out how they are going to deal with it that we get rock solid information. Which can take a couple of weeks.
TBH unless someone bails them out. Which is highly unlikely given who their backers are already and they won't help. It's just a case of waiting.Life in the slow lane1 -
No I'm not due to fly until aug but that's what capital one told me,0

Could be they are hoping for a update by then.
The hope is at that point all parties will agree that any future bookings can be actioned then, rather than having to wait till day after travel.Life in the slow lane1
