Advice please

Had a parking fine notice(Morfa Hall, Rhyl) from Smart parking for overstaying by 15 mins. I was driving a motability car for the person I support and he was agitated and this delayed us.
I appealed due to this and the fact that he is disabled and should be given a little extra time which is in the guidelines. I gave them my name and job title but did not admit to being the driver and made it obvious that the person I support would not have been the driver.
Smart parking rejected the appeal and asked for payment within 14 days. I ignored them and now Debt Recovery plus parasites are on the case sending letters to the person I supports home asking for the ludicrous fee of £170.00.
What would people recommend I do?. My predisposition is to ignore them and not provide them with any joinder but I don't want the hassle for the person I support

IGNORE drpl , they cannot do anything at all

Smart should have issued the RK with a popla code if they rejected the appeal , did they do so ?

ideally get the landowner or hotel to cancel it , that is always the NUMBER ONE PRIORITY, especially ina case where the EA2010 is available for that extra time

ie:- you should be leaning on the landowner to cancel under the EA2010, not faffing around, should have been done at the start

I assume the notices are to the RK and not to you ?

Send the landowner a Letter before Claim about disability discrimination, like this:

See how nicely that worked? Landowners will quake when you cite the Equality Act 2010, as carer of a disabled person, and threaten to sue them.

Disabled people can't be held to the same arbitrary time limit. It is illegal.
