The Watch Cabin- Returned item for repair under warranty, now they've ceased trading

Hi everybody.

I bought my husband a watch to wear on our wedding day, from The Watch Cabin. A few months later we realised it had a faulty minute hand. I contacted The Watch Cabin who confirmed it came with a 5 year warranty, so to send it off for repair.
We got Christmas out of the way and sent it off. It was signed for at the Warehouse on 7th January. I contacted them a week later to see if they'd recieved the item and was told to wait up to 3 weeks. I contacted them again yesterday and got the following reply-
Unfortunately due to an issue that has been brought to our attention recently with regard to one of our suppliers, we are no longer processing orders and we are currently unable able to make any refunds or carry out repairs.

If this affects your order you can contact your credit card provider to process a claim to recover money that you have paid to us.

We would like to offer our sincerest apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience that this may cause you.

So, they have my watch, which is my property, at a warehouse somewhere that they can't access. I have tried to log a claim through Section 75 with my PayPal Credit (which applies as it's the Credit function, not the normal payments) but not convinced this will apply as it's to do with a warranty return, not a new purchase. I've also tried to contact the company who run the warehouse but have been unable to get a reply up to now.

Has anybody got any advise? Obviously, my first choice outcome would be to get the original watch back as it's got huge sentimental value. If that's not an option, am I entitled to claim a refund thorugh section 75? I'm gutted.

Thanks for any advice,
Kerry

If you have enough information to identify the watch, contact the administrators of the company as soon as possible and ask them for your watch back. Make it clear that it is your watch, and is not theirs to sell to pay off the creditors.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
