Parking appeal adjudicator decision

My neighbour and I both received tickets for parking in suspended bays on our road. In along running saga, we appealed and went to adjudicator. In both our cases, the adjudicator upheld the fines but recommended cancellation of tickets due to compelling circumstances including health reasons.

My neighbour thought no more of it but yesterday we found out they rejected recommendation and demanding £195.

However , it appears they have failed to notify within 35 days as advised, does this mean the tickets are now void and invalid? Would appreciate any guidance.

    Welcome!

For expert free advice on this Council PCN knotty question, use pepipoo forum.

As we major on private parking tickets here, PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Register there (but please note that a hotmail address won't work - try using a throwaway gmail account instead if you do have trouble registering) and post a new thread; here's your link:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=30

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the Council (both sides of the PCN!) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with Council tickets and they will walk you through what the Council should have done and if there are any options when a Council ignores a recommendation to review a case due to health reasons (Equality Act 2010 might be in play).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
