PCM parking fine

Hi. Received parking fine through post for parking on double yellow lines at shopping retail park. I stayed in car, while my relative popped into shop. We have a blue badge which was displayed at front of car. The photographic evidence shows only the back of car. There were no spaces available in disabled bays. Is this worth fighting or should I just accept the fine. Thanks in advance

Sorry for quick reply late at night, but you just need to read the NEWBIES sticky thread.
See my signature below for where it is (no links given and no using a phone!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is not a fine, please read the stickies. Also read this.

who was the BB issued to, you or your relative?
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Double yellow lines on private property mean what ever the parking regime make up, they are not the same as on a public road, this is just another one of their scamming techniques.
As such the blue badge had no significance to them and is not for use on private land anyway read the book it tells you.
However this is a scam charge not a fine, you are now in the fight, and need to follow it through as per advice on here, don't give greedy scammers your cash.0
