NCP car park NTK received

Hi, received a ntk regarding non payment in a NCP car park (shopping centre). However the fee was paid but with cash (70p) no receipt given, and the barriers were up on exit. How do I appeal this? They only have the pic of the car reg going in and the entry and exit times. I have used you before and with success but that was pp charges and the reasons were because they were not well signed etc. This is different because we paid. Any advice gratefully received. Cheers

The advice is no different - please read (again) the NEWBIES FAQ thread.

Did you have to enter (or select) the vehicle reg when paying?

Date of event? Date NTK received?
  • Hiya, that's good then, just wanted to make sure. Yes had to enter reg and the incident was 16th December and received ntk Sat 28th December. Thanks

If the vehicle was clocked going in and leaving on the day , by anpr cameras , plus if the 70 p charge was paid for the stay, then what is the Reason on the PCN for issuing the NTK ?

It's either incorrect VRM entry or an overstay, usually

Yay, thanks for confirming! NCP tend to fold very easily when they see it!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
