What are these black dots? (longshot)

Hey all,

I know it's a longshot considering the picture isn't great, and I have no other information about these because my mum's scared to touch them :rotfl:

I'm suspecting Artillery Fungus until I get a chance to visit and check it out.

Does anyone recognise this as anything dodgy?

Probably spider or insect droppings.

New info, apparently they're completely flat and fall off if you touch them hah.

Looks like something has spattered on there - paint, cooking fat, .... ?
